OAD Director Featured as a Career Hero by National Schools Observatory, UK

OAD Director, Kevin Govender, has been featured as a Career Hero and Space Science Influencer by the National Schools Observatory, UK.

In the Careers section of their website, NSO include profiles of a number of leaders and research scientists in positions of influence at unviersities and other institutions. They emphasize that scientists not only require ”science knowledge but also other skills such as time management, social skills, and budget management”.

Other influencers profiled so far are: astronaut Charles Bolden Jr, astronaut John Glenn, past IAU President and astronomer Silvia Torres-Peimbert, and Alice Bunn, International Director at UK Space Agency.
