The Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD) will support 17 projects around the world in 2022, funded by the International Astronomical Union for a total of €109,822. These projects will address various socio-economic and sustainable-development challenges using astronomy-related interventions. The OAD is organizing an “Onboarding Week” for the project teams with a mix of lectures, workshops, meetings.
