Amateur astronomers’ network as outreach fosters

Target location: Russia and Germany at the first stage. Australia, USA – later. All countries of the world as the indicator of the right pace of the project and right orgatizators in different cites of the world.

Target audience: 1. Amateur astronomers (organizers, presenters, lecturers – on one hand, and also beginners who want to be involved in different activities – on the other);

2. Formal and informal public amateur astronomy organizations;

3. Schoolchildren of astronomy classes;

4. Astronomy school teachers (especially those who were selected or going to be selected for the “Telescopes for all” or “Telescopes for Siberian Villages” projects) ;

5. Planetaria staff;

6. General public.

The core project idea is to direct the passion of amateur astronomers and their organizations towards astronomy activities, online and offline. Through online educational platforms, this project raises interest in astronomy classes, e.g. live observations and streaming from different telescopes around the globe, as well as inspire interest in the target audience.
