The teaching radio interferometer project was presented at the Botswana International University of Science and Technology and the project leader contributed to erect one at the University. A lot of students and staff, were all very keen to help and participate to the project. A long list of contacts were collected that will contribute as the starting point of the community of practice that is being put together for the project. The inauguration of the facility was a national event attended by 2 ministers of the country who were both very impressed with what was achieved.
Shortly after, a workshop was organised at the Universite des Mascareignes & University of Mauritius, adding more interested contacts to the list. Following this, 2 radio interferometer projects have been initiated.
